Actual Source was founded in 2011 in Provo, Utah, as a multidisciplinary design studio and publisher operating at the intersection of graphic design, art, and print culture. The project began as a way to explore design beyond client work—producing books, objects, and printed matter that examine how typography, language, and visual systems shape the way we experience the world.
