Knitted Indigo Bamboo and Tiger Pocket Tee

This T-shirt is dyed a medium shade of indigo and the tiger emerging from the bamboo grove on the back of the shirt is expressed by a technique called "chakubatsu" which uses discharge printing to remove the color of all motif and add a new color on top of it. Indigo is also used for the color of the printed bamboo and tiger graphic, so you can enjoy the aging changes over time of both the base color and the tiger print. These T-shirts are dyed by hand, and each piece has subtle differences in shade and unevenness caused when dyeing. This is a unique feature of handcrafted work and no two pieces are exactly the same.
